Population and Migration

Today in Human Geography we learned about population and migration. Mr. Schick taught us many different terms we will be using over the course of this chapter. We learned things like: life expectancy, push forces, pull forces, etc. Life expectancies vary in different areas. Life expectancies are the average number of year that a group of people are expected to live. In developing countries life expectancies are lower because they do not have appropriate resources to fulfill their needs. Also, push forces are the qualities that make people not like the country. things like war, pollution, not enough jobs, and prodigious people will make people not want to come to the country. There are also things called pull forces that are qualities that make people want to go to a country. Things like a good economy, good health care, equality, and political freedom will make people want to come to the country.
