Globalization

In human geography today we talked about globalization. McDonalds was the example of the discussion. We talked about how McDonalds has gone into different countries and changed culture. In Japan everyone used to be super healthy and have sit down meals. They had customs with how the table was set and even pouring the tea. When McDonalds expanded to Tokyo it changed everything. Instead of sit down meals with your family, they started to go through a drive thru or eat at a booth. They started eating unhealthy foods that were taking a toll on their once healthy bodies. American chain restaurants just like McDonalds has globalized all countries over the world.
