"Behind the Swoosh"

Today we watched a video of a how a Nike Factory in Indonesia treats their workers. Honestly it was probably the saddest thing I've ever seen. these workers make $1.25 a day and work for about 15 hours. In the video they showed how the workers didn't want Leslie and Jim to take it to far because they need the job. they don't completely know how bad they have it. So Leslie and Jim went to Indonesia for a month and lived off of their wages. They could only afford two meals a day after paying for the necessities. Leslie got very sick during the time in Indonesia and with their wages you could either get Aspin and a bottle of tea or eat. That is how terrible it was in Indonesia. When Leslie and Jim went to Oregon to talk to the CEO about the sweatshops in Indonesia he would not answer anything. this just shows how greedy some Multi-Billionaires can be.
